About A-1 Tree and Lawn, Inc.

Fog sits in the Grants Creek bottom most summer mornings, and the first cut of the day leaves a dark wet line straight through it. A-1 Tree and Lawn, Inc. is a lawn care outfit working Salisbury from that early hour — mowing, trimming, edging along walks and drives, and carrying the clippings off. Grass here grows out of red Rowan County clay and comes back fast, so the job is a return trip and a steady hand rather than one big afternoon. There is real pride in a yard that looks on Friday the way it looked the hour it was finished. By the time the sun clears the treeline over the creek, the strips run true and the concrete is swept bare.
