ELIEZER TREE SERVICES

About ELIEZER TREE SERVICES

October in this stretch of the Piedmont turns the hickories yellow first, then the oaks, and the red clay shows bright wherever a bank has been cut. ELIEZER TREE SERVICES works Salem and the roads running out from it — removing trees that have gone hollow or crept too near a house, trimming crowns that have closed over a driveway, pruning back what has died so a hardwood keeps its shape. Storms roll in from the west most of the summer, and when one drops a limb across a fence line the crew comes to cut it, drag it and carry it off. There is a rhythm to the days: the saw, the chipper, then the slow tidy at the end. The last thing they do on any job is stand back and look at the yard the way the homeowner will.
