About Shields Grading Landscaping and Tree Service

Winter is the season for dirt in Rutherford County — the ground is firm, the leaves are down, and you can finally see what a property is actually shaped like. Shields Grading Landscaping and Tree Service uses it: grading a rough lot into something that sheds water, taking out the trees that have to go, then coming back in spring to seed it and start mowing. Watching bare, bladed clay turn into a stand of grass over a single season is a satisfaction that never quite wears off. Near the Second Broad River the low ground insists that sequence be done in the right order. Get the shape right first, and the green takes care of itself.
