About Settlemyre Landscaping

October pulls color down the foothills toward Rutherfordton a ridge at a time, and the hillside yards start letting go of it all at once. Settlemyre Landscaping works those slopes — mowing ground that tilts, trimming the terraces and bank edges, gathering leaves before they smother the fescue underneath. Fall is the real test of a lawn here, and the yards that get cleared and cut into November are the ones that come back green early. There is quiet pleasure in a sloped yard cut evenly top to bottom, no scalped crown, no missed line. The mountains do the showing off; the lawn just has to look right underneath them.
