The Lawn Ranger

About The Lawn Ranger

North of Rural Hall the land lifts into long rolls of Forsyth County farmland, and in late October the whole run of it goes rust and gold along the highway. The Lawn Ranger takes the season as it comes — mowing right up until the growth quits, trimming the edges, and clearing leaves off yards until the ground is bare and clean for winter. Then spring, and it all begins again, week by week, on into the heat. There is something steadying about a job that returns on schedule and leaves a place looking better than it did that morning. Rural Hall, Tobaccoville, King and the nearby communities.
