About Carolina Contracting and Tree Service

Hyco Lake spreads north of Roxboro in long fingers of water with hardwood standing right down to the shoreline. Carolina Contracting and Tree Service works those lake lots and the town blocks alike, taking out trees that have outgrown the space they were given, trimming crowns back from docks and rooflines, and pruning to keep a shade tree sound. Person County weather arrives fast off the ridges toward the Virginia line, and the cleanup that follows — brush pulled from the water's edge, a split poplar sectioned and carried off — is a good part of the year's work. Winter opens the view here, gray woods and a wide sky, and it is the right season to correct a leaning trunk. What stays behind is a clear yard and a tree line that looks intentional.
