About Green Tides LLC

An afternoon squall comes inland from the coast, drums on the tin and the truck cab for twenty minutes, and moves on north toward Burgaw — and by the next morning every yard in Rocky Point has surged an inch. Green Tides LLC times its routes to that pulse, because salt-tinged rain and coastal-plain sun together will run a lawn wild if nobody is watching. The service is straightforward: cutting at the right height, trimming close to fences and foundations, edging the concrete, clearing away what the storm shook loose. The reward comes at the end of the pass, when the wind moves over a freshly mown yard and the whole thing lies down in one direction like water. Keeping that motion tidy from week to week is the craft.
