About DC Tree Cutting and Land Service

Rocky Mount is awake before the sky is, freight rolling through the middle of town while the streets are still dark. On mornings when a winter storm has left a glaze behind, DC Tree Cutting and Land Service is out in that same hour — plowing, opening drives and walkways, and treating the ice so the day can move. Storms here come rarely enough to surprise everybody and heavily enough to stop everything, so speed counts for more than anything else. Salt on the shaded stretch, a plowed lane wide enough for a truck, a walk cleared right up to the door. By sunrise the pavement is dark again and the town gets on with it.
