About The Rockford Group

Autumn in the Yadkin Valley turns everything at once — hardwoods along the river bluffs, vineyard rows going gold and rust down the county roads. The Rockford Group works the season's biggest chore, hauling leaves off yard after yard, taking the grass down for the cold, clearing beds and refreshing mulch before the ground stiffens. The rest of the year runs on mowing, trimming, edging and weed control at a regular turn. Foothill wind can pile a month's worth of leaves onto a lawn in one gusty night, which is how the work finds you. Handing back a raked, mown, edged yard with the leaves gone is the most visible thing anybody does out here all fall.
