About Watts Lawn Care & Landscaping

November comes down the Roanoke on a cold, clean wind, and overnight the yards of Roanoke Rapids fill with sweetgum balls, pine straw and the last of the maple color. Watts Lawn Care & Landscaping meets that season head on: leaves gathered and hauled, straw raked out of the beds and replaced or renewed, shrubs trimmed back, the final cuts of the year taken low and tidy. Edging along the walks looks its sharpest now, with the grass gone dormant and the border standing out plain against the concrete. Clearing a lawn in late fall is one of the more thankless jobs on the calendar and one of the most satisfying to look back at — bare, swept, entirely at rest. Watts Lawn Care & Landscaping puts a town's yards to bed and then brings them back in spring.
