About Ostrom's Lawn and Landscaping

Water runs through everything up this way — the impoundments above town, the wide quiet reaches toward Lake Gaston, the light that comes off them in late August and turns the whole evening soft. Ostrom's Lawn and Landscaping keeps the yards that lean toward that water: mowing and edging the open ground, trimming the slopes, mulching the beds and cutting shrubs back so the view stays the view. Lakeside lawns have their own habits, sandy in places, shaded in others, growing hard right up until fall, and the routine adapts week to week. Cleanups follow the seasons, and the walks and docksides get blown clear before the crew pulls out. Ostrom's Lawn and Landscaping likes a property that looks at ease with its own shoreline.
