Thrasher's Lawn Service

About Thrasher's Lawn Service

By January the lawns around Riverbend have gone the color of straw, and the town takes on a plainer, more honest look — bare crepe myrtles, gray water, pines still holding their green. Thrasher's Lawn Service works straight through it: bed maintenance, cutbacks, shrub trimming and cleanups after the wind comes up off the river. Winter is when a yard's bones show, so it's the right stretch to fix its lines. When the grass breaks dormancy in March, everything is already cleared, edged and waiting on it. Mowing, trimming and blowing pick back up without anybody scrambling.
