Rich Square

About Rich Square

Rich Square carries a name that fits its land: flat, generous farm country in Northampton County, where cotton and peanut fields run nearly to the edge of town. Late in summer the heat lies heavy over the rows, and the evenings stretch long and amber across the open ground. Rich Square, the lawn care business that shares the town's name, keeps the yards between those fields in order, from lawns before porches that face the road to the wide side yards of country homes. A fresh cut and a neat trim matter out here, where a house can be seen from a long way off across level land. It is honest work on fertile ground, and a well-tended yard looks every bit as rich as the soil beneath it.
