About GCI Turf Services

September in Rockingham County is when a fescue lawn decides its future. GCI Turf Services works that window closely, opening the clay with core aeration, dropping seed into the holes, timing fertilization to the cooling nights, then mowing through the fall while the new grass fills. Come November there is a thickness underfoot that was not there in August, and by April the yard carries the deep green people notice from the road. Turf is a slow argument won over months rather than a single afternoon. Lawns in Reidsville, Wentworth and Browns Summit all get the same patient calendar.
