About Brian's Tree Service

Reems Creek runs down its own green valley toward the French Broad, the Craggies standing blue at the head of it and rhododendron thick along the banks. Brian's Tree Service works the yards and pastures on both sides of the road — pruning oaks and maples, trimming limbs back from roofs and drives, removing pine and hemlock that have died standing. Summer evenings up the valley cool off quickly, and the light holds long enough to finish a job properly rather than leave it for morning. Storms come over the ridge with little notice, and the cleanup after is a matter of cutting the tree off the fence, opening the lane and carrying away every last stick. The mark of a good day here is a yard that looks untouched, except for the tree that is no longer a worry.
