Red's Lawn Care

About Red's Lawn Care

At noon in July the cicadas run loud in the oaks and the heat stands still over Reedy Creek, the crepe myrtles blooming along the road as if they do not mind it at all. Red's Lawn Care is out in that heat because the grass does not wait: mowing, edging, trimming close around posts and foundations, then blowing the walks and the patio clean before pulling out. Summer stretches long and humid in this country, and a lawn can get away from a person fast. Keeping it on schedule is the whole trick. There is a good moment at the end of a hot cut, standing in the shade, looking back at a yard that came out right.
