About Darrs Landscaping

October takes its time here. The ridges above Reedy Creek turn sweetgum red and hickory gold, and then one windy night brings the whole canopy down onto the lawns below. Darrs Landscaping meets that season head-on, clearing leaves off the turf before they mat and smother it, keeping the mowing going while the grass still grows, edging and trimming so a yard holds its shape into the cold months. There is something worth doing about a lawn raked open to the light again, the beds clear, the walk swept. Fall runs short in this stretch of North Carolina, and the work is best done while it lasts.
