About Phillips Turf Group

Red Springs lays out in tidy blocks — brick storefronts downtown, then street after street of front lawns running clean to the sidewalk. Phillips Turf Group makes its rounds through them week by week: mowing, edging along the walks, trimming the fence lines, blowing the clippings back off the concrete. Turf in this corner of North Carolina grows hard from April clear into October, so the route repeats and the standard has to hold every single time. A whole street cut on the same day has a look to it, an evenness a passerby feels without ever naming. That is worth doing carefully.
