About Wake Pro Lawn Care

October in Raleigh arrives as a sound before it arrives as a color — willow oak leaves ticking down onto the brick sidewalks of Historic Oakwood and the porches around Five Points, one at a time, then all at once. It is the stretch of the year that decides how a lawn will look the following June, and Wake Pro Lawn Care spends it low to the ground: core aeration, overseeding fescue, fertilization and weed control, mowing and edging carried on as the days shorten, leaf cleanup pulled out from under the hedges and off the curb strip. Come November the yards go quiet and honest, every line plainly visible with nothing left to hide behind. That is when an edge along an old brick walk either holds or it doesn't. Keeping it holding, house by house down these oak-shaded streets, is the whole of the job.
