About S & W Tree Services

Around Pikeville the land lies flat and the sky takes up most of the view, so a single pecan or water oak in a Wayne County yard becomes a landmark for half a mile. S & W Tree Services looks after those landmarks. Pruning keeps their weight balanced and their dead wood cleared; trimming keeps them off roofs, off wires, and out of the lane down to the road. Summer thunderstorms cross the fields with plenty of warning and no mercy, and afterward storm damage cleanup fills the whole day — the split limb lowered, the trunk cut into rounds, the yard gone over until the grass shows again. When a tree has to come out, it comes out cleanly, with the fence and the flower bed still standing in the morning.
