About Asphalt Services of Goldsboro LLC

Winter in Pikeville is mostly a rumor until the week it isn't — flat fields under a hard gray sky, wind coming across from the west, and a forecast the whole county starts watching. Asphalt Services of Goldsboro LLC handles the snow and ice clearing here, plowing lots and driveways, opening entrances and sidewalks, and salting when a coastal-plain storm shows up as sleet and freezing rain instead of snow. Ice is the real business this far east: it comes overnight, glazes everything flat, and it will not leave on its own. Getting after it early is the difference between an ordinary Tuesday and a lost one, and an empty lot cleared with the sun not yet up is its own reward. Two days later the fields are draining, the highway is loud again, and nobody remembers a thing about it.
