About Riggins stump grinding and grapple truck services

The Pigeon River runs cold and fast out of the Haywood County mountains, and the valley it cut is full of tall shade trees standing over houses, barns and river-bottom pasture. Riggins stump grinding and grapple truck services works that valley — removals brought down piece by piece, trimming that lifts a canopy clear of a roofline, then the grapple truck to load the wood out so nobody is left holding it. The stump is the part most people forget until it is the only thing left, and grinding it away returns the ground to grass, flat enough to run a mower over. Spring here is loud with runoff and the green climbs the slopes a little later than everywhere else, which makes it a good stretch for heavy work. Nothing left standing, nothing left to trip over: that is the finish line.
