About J n J cut and run

Up the West Fork of the Pigeon, past where the pavement narrows toward Sunburst, the yards are carved out of the woods and the growing season is short. J n J cut and run keeps a quick, tight route through Pigeon and the coves around it — mowing, string trimming, edging, and hauling off what the wind and the water leave behind. Working fast is not the same as working rough; the point is to be gone by afternoon and to leave a yard that looks like nobody hurried. Late in the year the leaves come down off the hardwoods nearly all at once, and cleanup becomes the entire day. It is honest ground work, kept on mountain time.
