About Retro Scapes LLC

In winter the Pee Dee bottoms fill with geese, and the fields around them lie open and pale under a low sun. Retro Scapes LLC takes the cool season for work that shows up later — beds re-cut and mulched, shrubs pruned, leaves and pine straw cleared, dormant lawns tidied so spring has somewhere to arrive. When the grass turns again the rotation picks back up: mowing, edging along drives and walkways, trimming, clippings cleared. A property out here sits in wide country, so its edges are what give it shape against all that open ground. Then the geese lift off toward the river at dusk, and the yard behind them stands clipped and squared to the last inch.
