About The Ormond Group Landscape Services

Greene County is flat and generous — tobacco, beans and corn to the horizon, with Contentnea Creek moving slow through the cypress. The Ormond Group Landscape Services keeps yards in that farm country, mowing wide lots, edging long drives, trimming around barns, equipment sheds and the old shade trees that came with the house. Beds are mulched in spring, shrubs cut back, limbs and leaves hauled off after the storms that roll through on summer evenings. Land like this teaches scale: an acre of grass is a job, and it still has to look like somebody paid attention at every corner post. Late in the day the crop rows throw long shadows across a mowed lawn, and the whole place looks squared with itself.
