About Pamlico Lawn Care, LLC

In Oriental the river behaves like weather: the Neuse opens as wide as a bay at the end of the street, and the wind coming off it sets the tone for the whole morning. Pamlico Lawn Care, LLC mows and maintains yards in that salt air, where a lawn can run straight into marsh grass and one live oak shades half a property. The work means reading the soft ground near the water, keeping the cut even, edging tight against the shell drives and crepe myrtle beds, and carrying the clippings off before the humidity gets to them. The last pass of the day is the good one, when the stripes line up toward the water and the yard looks like it has been let out of a long week. Trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups round it out, on the village's own unhurried clock.
