Everything in Old Fort is on a slope, and water always tells you where the grade went wrong — usually in the middle of a July downpour rolling off the ridge. Baker Grading & Landscaping works with that rather than against it: grading and driveway work, drainage shaping and swales, gravel, soil and mulch, plus lawn mowing, trimming and cleanups. A drive that sheds water into the ditch instead of down its own middle lasts years longer, and you can see the difference from the road after the first hard rain. Seeding a graded slope above the Mill Creek bottom and watching it green up is the good end of the job. The mountains make the work harder and the results more obvious.
