Billy's Lawn Care

About Billy's Lawn Care

Ocean Isle faces south, so the light crosses the island all day long and the salt wind never really quits. Billy's Lawn Care mows and edges through that wind, working lots between the marsh side and the dune line where centipede and St. Augustine hold on against sand and spray. Trimming around decks and pilings, clearing clippings off the driveway and the walk to the door, cutting back what the humidity pushes over a property line by August. Rentals turn over on Saturdays, and a yard has to look right by the time somebody rolls in over the bridge with the car packed to the roof. Come evening the Intracoastal goes flat and pink, and a fresh-cut lawn under those wind-leaned oaks looks like the island is expecting you.
