Lawns of the East Coast

About Lawns of the East Coast

Summer evenings stretch long over Oakland, and the last hour of light is the hour that shows every line and every miss. Lawns of the East Coast works to that standard: weekly mowing, trimming, edging, hedge and shrub work, mulch, and leaf cleanup once the season turns. Clay ground holds water in the low spots and dries hard on the rises, so the cutting height moves with the weather instead of the calendar. Blowing clippings off the drive and back onto the turf is the small last step that makes a yard read finished. The pleasure of the job is driving past on a Sunday and seeing it still holding.
