About GAULDIN SERVICES

Everything in Oak Ridge sits on red Piedmont clay, and every October the oaks and tulip poplars try to bury it under a foot of leaf. GAULDIN SERVICES spends those short bright weeks moving leaves off lawns before the first hard rain packs them into a wet lid over the turf. The rest of the calendar is steady lawn care — mowing, trimming, edging the walks back to a hard line, and clearing the beds when the season turns. It is unhurried work done in a hurry, because autumn light in the Triad runs out earlier every afternoon. The reward shows up the next spring, when the grass comes back thick and green instead of thin and smothered.
