Gambill’s Lawn Care

About Gambill’s Lawn Care

August out toward W. Kerr Scott Reservoir is heavy air and flat water, and the mowing gets done early or it does not get done well. Gambill's Lawn Care runs the North Wilkesboro route in that first cool stretch of morning, cutting, trimming and edging while the dew is still burning off the ridges above the lake. Yards near the water grow uneven — shade on one side, full sun on the other — so the pass has to be read, not just driven. Afterward the clippings come off the drive and the walk, and the place looks finished instead of half-tended. It is steady, ongoing work through North Wilkesboro, Wilkesboro and the coves toward Boomer.
