About MD Lawn Service

There is a half hour at sunup in May when dew still weights the fescue and the whole of North Knobs smells like cut grass waiting to happen. MD Lawn Service starts about then and works the neighborhoods and farm lots straight through the morning: weekly mowing, string trimming, edging, mulch, shrub trimming and seasonal cleanups. Yards out here run to odd shapes — a garden plot, a shed, one big shade tree planted dead center — and the trimming is what turns odd into finished. The reward is small and specific: a straight line along a walkway, a driveway blown clean, nothing tracked into the road. Come August the cuts stretch out a little, and by the first cool week the leaves take over the list.
