Britt's Lawn Care

About Britt's Lawn Care

North of Clinton the Sampson County ground lies flat, sandy and easy to grow on, and it will put up grass the second the mornings warm. Britt's Lawn Care meets it there: mowing on a weekly turn, string trimming along posts and porch skirts, edging the drive so the line between concrete and lawn stays a line. The early hours are the best part of the day out here, cool for about ninety minutes before the humidity arrives with its whole opinion. Leaves in the fall, clippings the rest of the year — off the walks, off the street, gone. It is the same yard every week and somehow never quite is.
