DEESE LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING

About DEESE LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING

Newland sits higher than any other county seat east of the Mississippi, and midsummer here knows it — a July afternoon on the square can be shirtsleeve cool while the rest of the state wilts. DEESE LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING works through those temperate afternoons, mowing yards around town, running the trimmer along foundations and fence lines, and clearing the clippings off before anyone walks through them. Grass grows well in this thin bright air, which means the schedule never really slackens between May and October. The satisfaction is in the finish: a tight, even cut, corners squared, the sidewalk edge cut clean enough to read like a drawn line. Yards like that make a whole street look looked-after.
