GreenRiver Landscaping And Garden

About GreenRiver Landscaping And Garden

June in this part of Ashe County is generous — the bottomland goes emerald, split-rail fences vanish under honeysuckle, and every kitchen garden along the river road is suddenly waist-high and full of bees. GreenRiver Landscaping And Garden works right in the middle of that abundance, mowing lawns, trimming close along fence posts and porch skirts, and cutting the borders back so the tended ground stays separate from the wild ground. Up here the two are always negotiating. A lawn left a week too long starts drifting toward meadow, and there is a real pleasure in walking it back — the mower's clean sweep, the edge redrawn, the smell of cut grass hanging over a yard at midday. It is small, steady, hopeful work, and it makes a place feel loved.
