About Affordable Lawn Maintenance

In the New River valley the morning arrives twice — first as fog lying white over the bottomland, then again when the sun tops the far crest and burns it off one pasture at a time. Affordable Lawn Maintenance works those cool early hours, cutting and trimming while the grass still holds the night's damp and the air smells like wet fescue and woodsmoke. Ashe County ground almost never lies flat, so a yard here gets read before it gets mowed — where the slope runs, where the wet spot sits, which way the stripes should fall. The payoff is plain and it is enough: clippings blown clean off the walk, a straight line held all the way down a tilting side yard, a place that looked shaggy at seven and looks cared for by noon. Come evening the light goes long and gold across it, and the whole yard sits easy in it.
