About Topsail Turfscapes LLC

The winter weather that stops a North Carolina morning is often not snow at all — it is the glaze that arrives overnight and coats every step, rail and slope. Topsail Turfscapes LLC works both kinds: pushing snow off driveways and parking areas around New Castle, and breaking up the ice that sets at thresholds and along the first few steps, where a fall actually happens. Storms come in short bursts, a day or two, and then the temperature swings back and takes the whole thing away. Until it does, the job is unglamorous and exact — clear the surface, treat it, go back to the spots that refreeze. A drive you can back down without holding your breath is the entire ambition.
