About Local Roots Landscapes

By late October the yards of New Castle start giving back everything they grew, and the ground disappears underneath it. Local Roots Landscapes works that stretch hard — leaf cleanup, a last few cuts as the grass slows, edges reset, beds cleared so nothing smothers over the cold months. The rest of the year is the steady part: mowing on rotation, closing out the corners, holding the whole lawn at one honest height. There is something satisfying in the moment a yard reappears from under the leaves, raked and open again. Come the first warm week of spring, that ground is ready instead of matted.
