About DoodyCalls of Coastal N.C.

Once in a while a North Carolina winter delivers the morning nobody planned for: everything white, the whole town gone quiet, and not one car able to get off its own driveway. That is the morning DoodyCalls of Coastal N.C. turns out for, pushing snow off drives and parking areas around New Castle, opening the walks, and treating the slick spots before melt-and-refreeze turns them to glass. Snow work here is less a routine than a readiness — trucks fueled, the forecast watched, the phone on. Clearing starts early, because most of what people need is simply the ability to leave the house on time. By the time the sun works through, the pavement is dark and wet and the day gets to happen anyway.
