Young's Lawn Service

About Young's Lawn Service

Painted bears keep watch on New Bern’s street corners, a nod to the Swiss settlers who named the town for Bern and borrowed its emblem. In midsummer the crepe myrtles along the old streets bloom raspberry and white, brick sidewalks hold the heat long after dark, and the formal gardens at Tryon Palace stand clipped and geometric behind their walls. Young’s Lawn Service brings a little of that palace-garden order to everyday yards, mowing in neat parallel passes, running a tight trim around trunks and steps, and edging until the lawn meets the walk in a line you could set a level on. Coastal humidity keeps grass growing hard right through August, so steady visits matter. On a sultry July evening, tree frogs calling from the shade and the Trent glinting beyond the rooftops, a Young’s lawn lies smooth and freshly kept.
