About Croatan Landscaping Company

South of New Bern the road drops into the Croatan, where longleaf and loblolly close over the pavement and the ditches stay full and green. Croatan Landscaping Company mows the yards on that side of the rivers and all through town — grass cut on a set turn, borders run along drives and sidewalks, trimming worked around pines, posts and pump houses, and pine straw and clippings cleared instead of left to mat down. The ground here is sand under a thin skin of soil, and it will take a hard summer as long as the mowing keeps pace with it. When the storm rains finish and the humidity finally breaks in October, the leaf and debris work begins. A yard that looks kept in this climate is simply the result of never skipping a week.
