Pott's and Pebbles

About Pott's and Pebbles

May in the mountains around Murphy is a wet green — laurel blooming along the road cuts, mist caught in the coves most mornings, rain arriving without much notice. Pott's and Pebbles cuts through all of it, working the steep small lots where a mower gets walked and the trimmer does more than its share. Wet grass in the hills clumps and slides, so the passes go slower and the cleanup matters twice as much; clippings get blown clear of walks, steps and stone. An edge cut against a bank holds a yard together and keeps it from slipping back into the hillside. When the mist lifts around noon, the difference is plain to see.
