About Chastain Tree Service LLC

Murphy sits where the Valley River gives itself to the Hiwassee, out at the far western tip of the state, with mountains folding in close on every side. Chastain Tree Service LLC works those steep Cherokee County yards, where a tree is rarely growing on level ground and every removal has to be planned uphill and down. Snow arrives wet and heavy here and lays a white weight on limbs until something gives; storm damage cleanup afterward is a matter of hours, opening the driveway first and the rest of the yard after. In softer weather the days turn to trimming and pruning — clearing a roof, lifting a crown off a porch, cutting out the dead so the live wood can do its job. A tree taken down well leaves behind nothing but light and quiet, and that is the whole point of doing it properly.
