About B&N Landscaping and Lawn

Late June in the Valley River bottomland, the day finally cools around seven and the light coming across the fields turns the color of poured honey. A lawn cut that afternoon shows every pass in it, bands running one way and then the other like a shallow current. B&N Landscaping and Lawn works to that standard — mowing on a rhythm, trimming tight along fence posts and mailbox stands, edging so the walk keeps its full width, bed borders kept honest. Cicadas start up in the poplars about the time the blower clears the last clippings off the concrete. It is steady outdoor work for houses in Murphy and the small places strung along the river.
