About Stars & Stripes lawncare

October cools Mountain Creek down by degrees — hickory going yellow, sweetgum turning four colors at once, and mornings that ask for a jacket until about nine. Stars & Stripes lawncare works the tail of the growing season, when the grass slows and every cut has to hold longer than the last. Mowing, edging and trimming through the fall means tighter lines and cleaner borders, a yard put in order before the cold sets it to rest. There is a particular pride in those last visits of the year, walking a property that looks squared away with the light coming in sideways through bare limbs. Then the season turns, and the ground waits.
