KPPots

About KPPots

October is the kindest month around Mount Olive: the fields go tan, the light comes in sideways down the long streets, and the yards finally slow down enough to be looked at. KPPots keeps them worth looking at — steady mowing while the grass is still going, borders cut where turf meets sidewalk and drive, trimming close along fences and foundations, and leaves cleared before they mat down over the cool season. In town the lots sit square and shaded; out toward the county line they open up and run. Both want the same thing, which is an even cut and somebody who works the edges instead of guessing at them. There is a certain quiet in a swept walk and a finished lawn at the end of a fall afternoon.
