Double L Lawn Care

About Double L Lawn Care

The soil around Mount Olive is sandy loam, pale and easy, the kind that grows sweet potatoes by the truckload and grass that needs cutting every five days in June. Double L Lawn Care runs that rhythm through this end of Wayne County: mow, trim, edge, blow the walks, on to the next. Heat starts lifting off the fields by ten in the morning, so the day begins early and stays ahead of it. There is a plain joy in a yard finished before the worst of the sun — striped, squared at the corners, quiet. Then Friday comes and it all gets done again.
