Late in the fall the trees thin out and Kings Pinnacle stands up plain on the western horizon from half the yards in Mount Holly. RDS Lawns spends those weeks on leaves, off the turf, out of the beds, away from the fence corners, then puts a final even cut on the lawn before the cold sets in. The rest of the year is mowing on a steady turn, edging drives and walks, and string trimming the places a deck cannot reach. Mulch goes down in spring and the shrubs are taken back into shape. Mount Holly, Belmont, Stanley and Gastonia are on the route.
