About Carolina Landscaping and Tree Services, LLC

The Uwharries are among the oldest mountains on the continent, worn down now to green humps that shoulder up around Mount Gilead, and a lawn kept here has to answer to the same patient stone lying under the clay. Carolina Landscaping and Tree Services, LLC mows, edges and trims yards across town and out toward Lake Tillery, where the Pee Dee slows and widens and the mornings come up silver. There is a particular satisfaction in the first pass of an autumn cut — the deck humming, the line of the walk suddenly sharp again, clippings blown clean off the drive. Grass grows its own way on this red ground, and knowing that is most of the work. What gets left behind is a yard that reads as intentional from the road, the way a well-kept place always does.
