Green Acres Lawn Service

About Green Acres Lawn Service

Come October, downtown Mooresville turns the color of old brick and oak leaf at once, and the streets around the depot start filling with everything the hardwoods let go. Green Acres Lawn Service spends those weeks moving leaves off lawns before they mat down and smother the fescue underneath. The mowing keeps going too, higher and less often, right up to the last cut of the year. There is a specific pleasure in finishing a corner lot on a cold bright afternoon — grass standing up again, beds bare and tidy, curb line swept back to gray. Nothing about it is loud, and everybody sees it.
